Reverse Christmas Parade

Parade Logo 2020

Some changes have been made to this year’s Christmas parade to reduce the potential to spread COVID-19. Instead of a traditional parade, the City of Lowell and Gaston County Parks and Recreation are partnering together to bring our community a reverse Christmas parade.

Never heard of a reverse Christmas parade? We hadn’t heard of one either until 2020! A reverse Christmas parade is where the floats and parade entries will remain stationary as motorists drive thru the parade.

We hope you will join us for this unique event on Saturday, December 12 from 3pm-5pm at George Poston Park.

Questions? Please email Cristy at or call (704) 824-3518, option 4.

Vendors will not permitted at this year's event.

Parade Applicants: Parade entry registration is due by Wednesday, December 9 at 5:00pm.
