About
The City of Lowell, NC has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant - Neighborhood Revitalization Program Grant through the NC Department of Commerce to rehabilitate approximately 14 qualifying low-moderate income owner-occupied homes in a specified target area.
The City of Lowell has received Community Development Block Grant-Infrastructure (CDBG-I) awards in the amount of $1,981,691 ($1,696,480 and $285,211) by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for rehabilitation or replacement of approximately 7,870 LF of pipe, most of which is 8-inch, 50-year-old vitrified clay pipe (VCP), along Phillips, Railroad, W. First, Peachtree, Clay Streets and Oakland Drive.
