Great news! S. Church Street has reopened! Contractors have completed the essential repairs and extensions to the water/sewer/stormwater utilities ahead of schedule.
🔔 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🔔
Starting March 4th, S. Church Street, from the I-85 bridge to Cobb Street, will be closed for two weeks due to essential repairs and extensions to water/sewer/stormwater utilities. Detour signage will be posted to reroute traffic to S. Main Street. This closure was originally scheduled to start on Wednesday, February 28th, but only temporary lane closures will begin on 2/28/24, and the complete closure will begin on Monday, March 4th.👷♂️ The contractors will be hard at work to expeditiously complete this project.🚗 Please follow our detour route signage and allow extra travel time during this period.
